Status: Now Hiring__________________ Are you an avid fan of Contemplate's work such as Welcome to the Underworld and An Eternity of Eclipse and wanted to be part of something more than just a reader? Here's your chance! Staff positions are now open to those who are willing to volunteer and dedicate some time to help manage and monitor Timeless Boards! Available Positions and Descriptions:Number of positions available are in brakets. (N/A): No set number for now, i.e. Unlimited for now. Admin: (1) The admins are the administrators of the board. They oversee everything that is happening in the forum and are in charge of guiding staff and members and create rules/regulations. Decipher: (N/A) Deciphers, name inspired by AEOE's Ciphers, are the critical eye of the fan-base. They read, reread and analyze Con's stories and help document/update her story's glossary(located in respective forums). Graphic Designers: (2) GDs help make banners and such for the forum to keep it eye catching and pretty. Moderator: (N/A) Mods help manage individual forums/subforums, ensuring that the board will stay clean and spam-free. Project Coordinator: (5) Proj. coordis plan out fun and new challenges or giveaways for our members. They come up with creative ways for the forum to stay active. Tech Admin: (N/A) Tech Admin helps code and fix any tech/coding/errors. To apply, simply fill out the following form and post it in this thread or PM (private message) awayfortheday or admin. What qualities do you have that are suitable for the position that you are applying for?) Yes I have! I've been a graphic designer for four forum sites. I have quite a bit of knowledge in the graphic department. I usually just make graphic/edits of idols and story posters but being in quite a number of forums, I’ve learnt how to make vector images but I’m still improving. Why do you want the position that you're applying for? I’d really like to show my love for this newly formed forum. I think it’s a great idea and offering my time by making graphics is just one way to show my gratitude. I also would love to improve my graphic qualities. I’d like to be open to new types of styles and concepts rather than just What can you do to help the forum? I can provide graphic services which may lure more people to join and be sucked into the world of Con’s stories. Muahahahha. But yeah, use my graphics to get people interested in the site and gain its deserved recognition. Who is your favorite character in Con's stories? Oof this is a very hard question. I love every character but I must say Taehyun all the way. He has a piece of my soul and he’s perfect and I wish I knew someone like him because he is the sweetest thing. I am so jealous of Yoori sometimes because I want a Taehyun!!! Others: If there is anything else you would like to add, please feel free! Since I’m still at school and do extracurricular activities as well, I won’t be able to make graphics as often. However I am able to log on every day if my internet decides to work. I think I am suitable to be a decipher since I have a critical mind. I would always look through things seriously and manage them the way they should be managed. Why do you want the position that you're applying for? I want this position firstly is to show my support to Con.template. Second, I want to reciprocate the things Con has given us readers. Lastly, I want to help improve this forum for all the supporters to have a contented mind. What can you do to help the forum? I can give the best service I can, and I will do my best to do what I am supposed to do. Who is your favorite character in Con's stories? This is a reeeeeaally hard question. I just love all of them. It's an international forum for the korean girl group f(x) (i just resigned for some personal reasons which includes "memory" + "loss". I'm fine now though.). I have enough time to do some moderating job here and I am very strict with the rules. I can also be very flexible about rule changes and everything. Why do you want the position that you're applying for? I just really want to give back to Con for being such an excellent writer. She's also very generous to her supporters so I think giving a little of my time won't hurt. I am also very glad for the founder/s of this forum. Me applying also shows my gratitude for their hardwork. What can you do to help the forum? I will act according to the rules. As a moderator (hopefully), I will make sure every thread is clean. I will do my best to help out. Who is your favorite character in Con's stories? I love everyone, actually. But Taehyun's character really stood out for me. I love the fact that he is the king of serpents, however he is never that ruthless. You just know, from the moment Con introduced him in the novel, you know that he is never ruthless(unlike the rest of the leaders). I love the way he loved Yoori. IDK. While reading WTTU for the first time in soompi, i envied Yoori because she has Taehyun. I want my own Taehyun.. lol Others: If there is anything else you would like to add, please feel free! No, I have never worked for a fan-based forum before however, I am quick to learn new things especially when it's computer-based. I could write a long list of my qualities that I think are suitable for this position, but I like things short and simple. English is my first language, so I am practically fluent in it. I have previously help edit my friend's novels so I am familiar with the common writing errors. I am somewhat of a grammar Nazi so I will definitely make sure that Con's future stories and works will be clean of any grammatical errors. Why do you want the position that you're applying for? One of the reasons I would like to become a decipher (if not another position available) is that I would love to give back to Con for sharing her story with us, and giving us to opportunity to 'find Paris'. I would like to contribute back to Con for allowing me to be a part of her success with WTTU. If not for the fans and support team, what is an author but just an individual with creativity? What can you do to help the forum? I can only promise that I will give my best to do my job as a decipher and contribute positively to Timeless forum. Who is your favorite character in Con's stories? I don't really have a particular favorite character but rather a favorite couple. My favorite couple is Tae Hyun and Yoori (Taeri) from Welcome to the Underworld. The reason why they are a favorite is that they remind me so much of my boyfriend and I (excluding all the gangs and Underworld elements). Personally, I think Yoori and I are very similar in several ways. It's just so interesting reading about a character that depicts similar characteristics as you do. It makes you wonder, if you would take the same actions and chances as she does, if you were in her place. Others: If there is anything else you would like to add, please feel free! My school and work schedule is flexible and I have the luxury of having such an easy going boss which allows me to use my phone during work hours, in case there needs to be a update on Timeless forum.
